The size of the band depends on the number of guests and the types of music you prefer. IE If you like music that includes a horn section, then it would make sense to add at least a trumpet and saxophone and even a trombone. More front vocalists will add more energy to the band’s performance.
Yes CCE offers musicians from the band as well as specialists. We have samples of all the different types of ensembles we offer.
There is no substitute for experienced performers. Some are more in demand than others.
Yes we offer sound reinforcement to match your needs. IE. Larger audiences may need more speakers to surround the audience. Let us help you with your needs.
Yes, we have liability insurance that will be requested from most venues.
We can not guarantee people. There are too many factors that might be out of our control. However usually the talent you select will be your performers. It is up to CCE to always provide quality substitutes if necessary.
We encourage our clients to review and select music they want performed and NOT performed. However it is up to the professionals performing to assure a successful event. As the talent performs they will make last minute changes but will always include those special requests.
Yes the performer generally takes three 15-20 minute breaks within the course of a four hour event at appropriate times. They will supplybreaks music during their breaks or you have the option of continuous music or a disc jockey.
Yes larger bands can rotate the musicians and we can add additional key players such as a second drummer and/or bassist to make the transition smooth and consistent. There are additional charges.
Yes there will be appropriate pre recorded music performed.
Yes we offer various DJs that can cover the band breaks or extend into the later part of the evening.
One of the musicians or vocalists will cover Emcee duties or if our client includes a DJ, he/she will act as the MC.
We start reviewing plans a couple of weeks prior to the event, working closely with your event planner (if there is one).
Some groups are more popular than others. As soon as you feel comfortable with your decision you should contract the talent.
The amount of the deposit will depend on the date booked and the amount of the agreed fee. This can range from 25%-50%.
If cancellation is due to force majeure, then a new date is agreed upon by both parties. If the event is cancelled with some other circumstances, the deposit is non refundable. Our talent does give up the possibility of booking your selected date.
Yes the musicians will learn up to three songs providing there are recordings and transcription of the music requested.
Yes CCE can provide: Decor Lighting - uplighting, breakout patterns and accent lighting. Specialty Lighting - Enhanced moving lights to create a unique experience. Stage Lighting - Lights that are focused on the talent.
All types of music and genres.
Yes the band can perform traditional Jewish music and other ethnic music.
It is not always possible to attend someone else’s private special day. Every effort is made to provide our client with an opportunity to experience the talent. We do offer live recordings from previous events as well. Most of the time these are better than standing outside of the venue to get a glimpse of the group’s performance.
The talent can wear formal attire, color coordinated jackets and ties or a very contemporary look.
We do allow guests to perform with our bands, but we must know ahead of time and they may need to provide their own instruments.
Depending on the size of the group this can take from 1-4 hours.
If an evening event the band can stay for extra time, charging in thirty minute increments.
This will depend on the size or number of musicians in the group.
It is preferred that the appropriate size stage be provided. However there are circumstances where it might be better not to have a stage. This should be discussed with your CCE representative.
CCE does not provide staging, but does work with qualified vendors that do offer staging.
